Role Introduction

Our client is seeking a Business Developer (Upwork) to drive business growth by identifying, bidding on, and securing new projects through the Upwork platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, eager to learn, and capable of managing the initial sales pipeline for sustained business development.

Requirements
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and projects aligned with the company’s expertise and goals.
  • Craft tailored, compelling proposals showcasing the company’s unique value proposition and capabilities.
  • Improve and optimize the company’s Upwork profile and bidding strategies for maximum visibility and success.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to Upwork bidding efforts.
  • Actively bid on projects, engage clients in initial conversations, and follow up until project handover to a senior manager.
Specifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relative field.
  • Upto 1 Year of relavent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Upwork’s platform, including bidding strategies, proposal writing, and client engagement.
  • Ability to monitor Upwork trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics to identify new opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling proposals and articulate value propositions clearly.
  • A background in software development and familiarity with technical concepts.
