Role Introduction

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist /Upwork Bidder to join our client. In this role, you will seek out new opportunities within the market, find potential clients in need of services that we provide, and submit high-quality proposals on Upwork as needed. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with others.

  • Onsite
  • Identify prospective customers through research across multiple platforms such as the Google search engine, social media networks, etc.
  • Contact organizations via phone or email in order to introduce our company's products & services.
  • Analyze existing bid proposals format from competitors before submitting bids on projects posted on the Upwork bidding platform
  • Develop strategies for online selling techniques using tools like Facebook ad campaigns or AdWords powered by Google Ads
  • Negotiate terms with project owners including pricing, timelines & delivery milestones
  • Create standardized documentation such as contracts following successful customer acquisition
  • 2-3 years’ experience in business development officer roles or similar positions
  • Must possess strong analytical abilities when researching markets and creating effective marketing plans
  • Demonstrated competency working with web analytics software; knowledge of SEO principles is desirable
  • Excellent verbal & written communicator; must have good command over English grammar rules
  • Ability to multitask between tasks that require creative solutions alongside those involving data entry
