Role Introduction
We are hiring a Lead Full Stack Engineer with a strong back end focus to build and scale secure, high-performance systems. This role involves hands-on back end development, system design, and end-to-end ownership of business-critical features, with occasional front end work to ensure smooth integration across the stack.

Requirements
- Lead backend architecture, design scalable PostgreSQL schemas, advanced queries, indexing, transactions, and Row Level Security (RLS) with Supabase
- Build and maintain high-performance, secure REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js
- Develop Supabase Edge Functions for serverless logic, real-time features, webhooks, and custom backend processing
- Handle complex third-party integrations via APIs, webhooks, queues, and event-driven systems
- Own backend performance optimization, caching strategies, error handling, monitoring, and production incident resolution
- Implement robust authentication, authorization, and security (JWT/OAuth, Supabase Auth, role-based access, OWASP mitigation, secure headers, rate limiting, etc.)
- Use AI tools (Cursor, Lovable, ChatGPT/Claude, etc.) to accelerate design, code generation, debugging, and task breakdown
- Occasionally contribute to or review frontend code (React, TypeScript, Vite) to ensure seamless API-frontend integration and maintain full-stack context
- Lead sprint planning, task breakdown, prioritization, milestone delivery, and timeline ownership
- Coordinate between engineering team, frontend developers (if separate), operations, and business/product stakeholders
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, scaling issues, and blockers, drive resolutions
- Align technical decisions and deliverables tightly with business goals and product roadmap
- Maintain clear documentation, API specs (OpenAPI), database ERDs, architectural decisions, runbooks, and delivery processes
Specifications
- 4–5 years of professional full-stack development experience, with strong backend emphasis
- Production-level expertise in Node.js (async patterns, error handling, performance tuning, modules, clustering)
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries, optimization, and schema design
- Hands-on experience with Supabase (Authentication, Row Level Security, Edge Functions, Realtime, Storage, and database tooling)
- Proficiency in REST and GraphQL API design, implementation, security, and versioning
- Solid understanding of authentication and web security fundamentals (JWT, OAuth, sessions, encryption, and common vulnerabilities)
- Practical experience with React, TypeScript, and Vite to build and maintain responsive UIs and integrate frontend with backend APIs
- Demonstrated ability to own projects end-to-end, from database design to deployed features
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, agile practices, and reliable execution
- Excellent English communication skills for documentation, status updates, cross-team collaboration, and leadership
