Role Introduction

The Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for monitoring network operations, troubleshooting issues, managing offsite backups, and supporting data center infrastructure. This role demands a proactive, detail oriented individual with a solid technical background and excellent problem-solving skills

Requirements
  • Monitor network systems, servers, and services to ensure 24/7 availability and performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
  • Manage and monitor offsite backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Provide support for data center infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Perform VMware vSphere management and troubleshooting.
  • Execute routine health checks, generate reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure network security and enforce best practices to protect client environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution and continuous service improvement.
  • Escalate critical issues and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior NOC staff when required.
Specifications
  • 4-6 years of experience in NOC operations, network engineering, or systems administration.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing & switching, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP.
  • Proven experience with offsite backup solutions and management.
  • Knowledge of VMware, vSphere, and virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with data center operations, power management, and environmental monitoring
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, etc.)
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of network security protocols and incident response
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and reliably during night shifts (onsite role)
