Role Introduction
We are looking for a skilled SFCC Backend Developer to design and build robust server-side solutions for our digital storefronts. In this role, you will drive the core engine of a worldwide e-commerce platform, managing complex integrations, streamlining data workflows, and keeping checkout and inventory systems running smoothly during high-traffic periods such as seasonal sales events.

Requirements
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using SFCC Server-Side JavaScript, SFRA controllers, and cartridges within the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
- Design and implement integrations with third-party services including payment gateways (PayPal, Adyen), tax platforms, and Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Build and optimize high-performance APIs using OCAPI and Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI) to support headless commerce initiatives.
- Identify and resolve backend performance bottlenecks to ensure reliability and speed under heavy traffic.
- Configure and manage backend jobs, service frameworks, and data feeds covering product catalogs, pricing, and real-time inventory.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to deliver scalable backend services for customer-facing features.
Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C/Demandware).
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js-based environments; strong grasp of SFRA, Pipelines, and Scripting.
- Familiarity with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and integration patterns.
- Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer or Architect certification is a plus.
- Background in high-volume retail or fashion e-commerce is preferred.
