Role Introduction

Salesforce Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project execution and managing data reporting and analysis within the SFMC program. This role ensures effective planning, tracking, and documentation of tasks across offshore teams, while also supporting performance measurement through accurate data analysis and reporting using SFMC tools and Data Extensions. The PM role plays a critical part in maintaining operational transparency and enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and status tracking.
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel).
  • Monitor progress of tasks and deliverables, identify bottlenecks, and support issue resolution.
  • Design and manage SFMC Data Extensions aligned to business reporting needs.
  • Create and run queries to extract performance metrics related to journeys, automations, and campaign data.
  • Build and maintain project reports, charts, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Support testing, validation, and UAT reporting by tracking relevant analytics and issue metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore resources, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to the Delivery Director and other stakeholders on project status and risks.
  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making through accurate analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in project management and data handling within SFMC environments.
  • Participate in process improvements and tool optimizations for enhanced efficiency.
Specifications
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and data analysis roles, preferably in a marketing technology or CRM environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience managing offshore teams and coordinating across time zones.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) tools, including Data Extensions, journeys, automations, and campaign analytics.
  • Proven track record in handling project lifecycles from planning to post-implementation support.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools for sprint planning and tracking.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and quality assurance processes.
