Role Introduction
Looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect (OMS) to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of a new Order Management System. This role involves defining the overall architecture, ensuring scalability, and driving seamless integration across enterprise platforms including ERP, WMS, and eCommerce systems.

Requirements
- Define and own the OMS technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, and eCommerce platforms.
- Lead cross-functional teams, make critical design decisions, and ensure alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
- Partner with business and IT teams to assess current workflows, translate business needs into technical solutions, and define the future-state OMS architecture.
- Design and implement data migration (ETL) strategies from legacy OMS platforms.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through architectural best practices and code reviews.
- Build and validate proof-of-concepts (POCs) for critical design components.
- Develop comprehensive architectural and technical design documentation.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle from design to deployment and post-launch stabilization.
Specifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 8+ years in enterprise solution delivery, 3–5 years in a solution architect or technical leadership role, preferably within OMS or supply chain systems.
- Hands-on experience with leading OMS platforms such as Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Salesforce OMS, Blue Yonder, or Oracle OMS.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, enterprise integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven, messaging), and data modeling.
- In-depth understanding of inventory visibility, distributed order management, and fulfillment logic.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex, scalable solutions.
- Experience with legacy OMS/ERP modernization or migration projects.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
- Exposure to cloud migration or hybrid cloud environments
