Role Introduction
As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will work directly with business stakeholders and the SAP team to design, configure, enhance, and support all Finance & Controlling processes across the entire SAP landscape (ECC, S/4HANA, CAR). You will own end-to-end functional designs, configuration, production support (including 24×7 on-call), functional specifications, and will act as the go-to person for all FICO + Retail integrations.

Requirements
- Act as key resource for AR, AP, GL, Asset Accounting, Project Systems, Inventory, Procurement and Sales processes
- Deep understanding of standard Finance and Sales & Distribution processes (POSDM/POSDTA knowledge highly preferred)
- Gather requirements, perform fit-gap, write & review detailed Functional Specification documents
- Configure ECC, S/4HANA & CAR; recommend customization only when absolutely necessary
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Finance
- Monitor daily financial jobs/interfaces
- Support testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT), cutover & go-live
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience
- Minimum 5+ years in SAP IS-Retail FICO
- Proven experience supporting a company that uses SAP Project Systems
- Hands-on configuration experience in ECC 6.0+, S/4HANA and CAR
- Experience with SAP upgrades, Simple Finance and Universal GL
- Integration experience with MM, SD/OTC, EDI, Bank interfaces and non-SAP applications (lease management, treasury, etc.)
- Experience in Internal & External Audits and ITGC controls
