Role Introduction
We are looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Engineer with strong expertise in procurement, vendor management, and logistics for IT, cybersecurity, networking, and technology-driven projects. This role will focus on sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers while ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant delivery of products and services.

Requirements
- Drive procurement for IT hardware, software, cloud, and related technologies.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to secure optimal deals.
- Build and manage strong relationships with local and global vendors, distributors, and OEMs.
- Develop and maintain the company’s Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Ensure vendors meet quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
- Manage logistics, customs clearance, and delivery schedules across Oman and GCC.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Projects, Sales, Technical) to forecast demand and align supply.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, order tracking, and cost control.
- Identify alternative sourcing opportunities within the IT & technology sector.
- Track market trends, pricing, and emerging technologies to inform sourcing strategies.
- Support bids and tenders through quotations, vendor commitments, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with Oman and GCC regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits, certifications, and reporting.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance.
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
- 5–7 years of progressive supply chain/procurement experience, with at least 5 years in the IT/Technology sector.
- Prior experience in Oman or GCC is essential, with knowledge of local suppliers, customs, and regulatory processes.
- Proven success in sourcing IT solutions (hardware, networking, software, cybersecurity, cloud).
