Role Introduction

As a General Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects while strategically managing business control to optimize costs and achieve company objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in supervising administrative staff, fostering a productive work environment, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Construction Operations Oversight: Direct and supervise all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established standards and schedules.
  • Business Control and Financial Management: Develop and implement business control measures to optimize project costs and achieve company financial goals.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and supervise administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to foster a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials and resources for construction projects. Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts, streamline procurement processes, and optimize supplier relationships.
Nice To Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of 20-25 years in a senior management role within the construction industry, with a strong track record of overseeing construction operations and managing budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting, with a solid understanding of business control principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions and drive business performance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the construction industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
